Explosive

My 1st book by this author. Patrick returns home after 15 years to attend his abusive mother's funeral which unlocks a long ago kidnapping & murder. Doggedly pursuing evidence leads him to a small town and a burgeoning friendship with CJ. Together they dig into the past digging up things better left buried. Threats on their lives and executed witnesses draws them in deeper. The truth almost kills them but it was a satisfying blend of mystery, thriller, and psyche. i will read more by this author.
