And she could also see the solutions.
When she got accepted into a prestigious university for gifted students, oppurtunities arose to make change. Unfortunately, to have her massive potential viewed by those at the top, Mara would have to not just be seen as one of the many deformed outcasts. So, in a fight to be equal, she forged a mask, both physical and emotional. The young genius used her new cover for appearance and feelings, but also as part of an entirely new persona. Mara, unwanted by the world, would be forgotton.
But her new name would always be remembered by the citizens of Arden. Whether for legacy or infamity, did not matter. It would be Orla.
