The Line Between

By Marí Alexis Casto

The Line Between is a collection of poetry from debut author Mari Casto. Through her own experiences, the author explores themes of childhood growth, grief and loss, love, intimacy and romance, motherhood, postpartum, and all the small moments in between that together create a raw rendering of the paths we walk when discovering ourselves. Through vivid and often nature-inspired imagery and powerful use of language, this poetry collection reminds us that every day moments are world-altering, a person cannot be defined by just the sum of their parts, and we are all connected in our experiences more than we are different.

"No one thing exists without the other only a breath away

Close enough to kiss

The intimacy of it should frighten us

But what if we let it inspire us, instead?"
