The Medium Is the Message, Or Not

Gates McKibbin has created a work that is both succint in verbage and deep in information, a rare accomplishment. Think of the courage it took for Gates, an established, successful and well-known businesswoman to bring forth her personal experience and knowledge of a world beyond our material plane of existence and you will begin to understand the importance of this book. No one that reads this book will be untouched by the messages of each section and most of them will resonate to you individually and deeply. Whether you are a free soul that believes in the spirit of Gate's father or an extreme pragmatist that looks at only tangible facts, this book will be of equal value and enjoyment to you. I look forward to reading the remaining books in the series.

A Gift of Love from a Father to his Daughter

"The Light in the Living Room" was a wonderful "find" for me, as were the rest of the books in this series. This one is a true testimony of a fathers love for his daughter, and all of life. I loved the fact that he kept the light on in the living room when Ms. McKibbin was away from home...it was as if the light would help her find her way home, and that love was waiting for her there. This book is her fathers commentary, sent from the other side, on the various aspects of life. The message is simple and believable. One of my favorites was "Being Loved"..."How much are you loved? Imagine all the light you will see during every waking moment of your lifetime. Every minute outdoors during the day, every awareness of the sun shining when you're indoors, the stars--each one, the moon and its moonbeams, prisms shining through crystals, smiles and sparkling eyes, entities showering you with golden rays, fairies scattering pixie dust bout. Compile all of that, and it is only a fraction of the love you receive every moment of every day." What a wonderful gift of love from John McKibbin to Gates!!! In my own life, I can imagine my own father giving the same to me. I recommend this book to anyone who is looking for simple answers to what life, either on the other side or the here and now, offers us. It truly is about love.
