Along the way we experience the strong family bonds of Sandro's birth family. Sandro holds on to his family values throughout his life. His own loving family is proof of that.We come to understand his need to draw what interests him as he develops his artistic skills. Sandro is always available to be a friend or a teacher. He overcomes tough times to become a gentle person. When he meets Hannah, he immediately knows that his life's course will be determined by his relationship with her. Sandro knows about working hard and taking big chances. He feels the deep family bonds that hold people close. He also faces the cruelty and ignorance that sometimes has its way over decent people. Sandro tries his best to hide one odd facet of his personality. He experiences unique phenomena that involves other places and other times. Sometimes his loved ones witness dramatic and odd visions in his eyes.
