Admiral Sam Wilson-Carter smiled as she stood to address the Brigade of Midshipmen before shoving them off for Christmas break. Looking out at the eager young faces she glanced left and right, conscious of the powerful emotions the massed blue and gold uniforms evoked in her.
She began, "Men and women of the Brigade I stand before you today the proudest sailor who ever lived. That pride I feel is because of you. Your performance this term has left me no alternative," she paused to smile. "No alternative than to believe we must be doing something right."
