The struggle of the Roarke Team after many adventures should have a better and realistic end to the platonic romance of John and Natalia that lasted for 500 years . The logical ending would have been for John to marry her as his second wife, every book up to this led to this conclusion (since fiction advancing 500 years in the future would have allowed), and in the end a hypocritical solution was found to please who knows , maybe some religious groups, making it look unreal and hypocritical .
