The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK) is the sequel to Breath of the Wild. It features similar gameplay mechanics and requirements for 100% completion. There are 23 Main Quests, 31 Shrine Quests, 60 Side Adventures, 139 Side Quests. There are also 152 Shrines which are puzzle rooms. The map is quite large and consists of 3 layers: Sky, Surface, Depths. You will play as Link and must find Princess Zelda. After unlocking the first Skyview Tower (viewpoint) from the main story, you can freely explore the map right away and already find most shrines and quests. However, some require more story progress. So it's best to focus primarily on the story first, then you have access to everything and can clean up side tasks after. Nothing is missable. After the story you are put back before the final boss and can clean up any remaining tasks for 100% completion.
