The Legend of the Grand Canyon

The Legend of the Grand Canyon is a book that can be used to teach students about one of the seven wonders of the world. I would recommend reading this book to introduce legends and using it as a multicultural book. This book has outstanding pictures. It truly leaves the reader with a picture of what is happening in the story. It opens the eyes of readers to a different perspective of how the Grand Canyon was formed. One criticism of the book I have is word placement. It seems that the words on each page aren't strategically placed rather, at the top or bottom of each page. I know that I look forward to reading this book to my students someday.
