"The Legend of Sky" is a tale about a blue jay named Sky who is upset that his fellow creatures mysteriously disappear. However, Sky suspects why they're gone. Being the color of the blue heavens, Sky is elusive to trappers and hunters, whom he blames for his friend's disappearance. Except that on dark and stormy days, he isn't as well concealed. On clear days, however, he's like the wind. Sky's presence is only witnessed moments after he's already passed by. Mischievously, he secretly sweeps by the belongings of humans, then tumbles them and shakes their confidence. He wants to let blinded observers know he's in command and has come and gone before they can react. Then he has an epiphany. He comes up with a plan to cloak his surviving friends from trappers & hunters. Compassionately, he blesses his friends with better survival odds to remain free of hunting. This story is about his escapades & shenanigans he enacts to save and protect his animal brothers and sisters.
