The story of a lifetime!!!!

I loved this book. There is something always so fascinating about reading someone's whole life story, whether that happens to be fiction or even non-fiction. Within the first couple of chapters you start to feel like you know Lacy. The characters become so life like. This book made me laugh, gringe, and cry. You definitely can't beat that!!! I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a great story that travels.

Wow!

I really enjoyed this book! The cover is fantastic and so is the story. It reminds me of the early Harold Robbins books I read years ago. Definitely a page turner!

Wonderful and Mysterious!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lacy Black is the coolest heroine ever! I am a teenager and was completly entranced by Lacy's Story, and how strong she became. She has become my role model, and Drew Mallory: WHAT A HERO!!!!! Anyone looking to laugh, cry, cry, cry, and be on the edge of your seat, this book is for you! ...

OH MY GOODNESS, THIS IS GREAT!!!!!

I HAVE NEVER READ A BOOK LIKE THIS ONE. HOLLYWOOD, WHEN IT WAS HOLLYWOOD. THREE MEN LOVE AND SHAPE LACY BLACK'S LIFE. ONE IS EVIL, THE OTHER TWO HELPED HER GROW. WE SEE HER GOING FROM A POOR TEXAS COUNTRY GIRL TO THE MOST FAMOUS WOMAN IN THE WORLD. THE BOOK TAKES YOU FROM 1930 TO MODERN DAY AND IT'S ACTION PACKED. YOU WILL BURN THE MIDNIGHT OIL ON THIS ONE AND YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO PUT IT DOWN UNTIL IT'S FINISHED. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND READ THIS BOOK.

COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN!

Lacy Black is a beautiful movie star in 1930s Hollywood, worshipped by millions. Only those closest to her know the secret sadness in her life, and one of them wants her dead!I laughed, I cried, I didn't want the story to end. If anyone from modern-day Hollywood is reading this review, it would make a great mini-series. I will re-read this often until the next Tory Houston epic is published.
