There oughtta be more like this!

A book for the too-young-to-hunt kid who can hardly wait to join Dad as he heads out to the deer woods. It's a story about archery hunting, sportsmanship and the camaraderie of five friends that will cultivate kids' interest in hunting. By creating this book for children, the author has done hunting a valuable service. it helps present hunting in a positive light for children, depicts what hunting is like, and teaches some of the skills hunters use. Unlike most books for children, The Legend of Johnny Big Buck is not a cartoon book, and the deer isn't given a human personality, but it's very tastefully done. This is the book for the kid who's chomping at the bit to go hunting, but he's too young, and the right book for a kid who needs a positive view of hunting.
