The Legacy of Faith: Generations is the continuing story about four families who came to Guttenberg, Iowa. The Tschohls, Mathias Rohner, George Spielbauer, and Mary Pankraz all had their own reasons for fleeing to America from 1855 through 1871.
Their faith and determination not only saw them through the journey but continued to guide them on the post-Civil War western front. They found the challenges in the new world had only begun and that not everything they desired to leave in the old world stayed there.
As their families intertwine, many stories are told of days gone by, but new stories also unfold along the way. The triumphs and tragedies that all families faced occurred, but one secret continued to haunt one family tree. Will the truth come out? If it did, at what cost?
