The Latter Day Saints' Millennial Star was a monthly (later weekly) periodical of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, printed and published in Liverpool, England, from 1840 to 1970. It disseminated religious teachings, news, and literature to members in Great Britain and other parts of the world.
Founded by Parley P. Pratt, one of the original Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, the "Star" played a crucial role in unifying and informing the expanding Mormon community during a period of significant growth and migration. This historic publication offers insights into the doctrines, missionary efforts, and social dynamics of early Mormonism, making it an invaluable resource for researchers, historians, and anyone interested in the history of the Latter-day Saint movement.
