The Last Ones: The Outbreak

In Philadelphia, 1987, the son of Harry Nelson (a wealthy scientist and buisnessman) becomes deeply sick with an unknown disease. In a desperate attempt to cure it, Nelson assembles a team of scientists and doctors to work on a potential cure. However, Nelson rushes his team and ends up creating a deadly infection that would soon spread to the whole city and beyond. In just a day, the city is overtook by infects (humans who became infected). Not everyone, however, was lost. Officer George Stone and his team of police officers managed to avoid the infects and survive. They managed to gather resources and even find a few other survivors. Meanwhile, Ben Cooper, a young criminal who seeks vengence against Officer Stone, manages to break himself and his gang out of prison. Although it was highly likely George Stone became infected, Ben belived deep down inside that he was still out there. Eventually, the two groups would meet and fight for their survival.
