Book Overview

Set in modern times, The Last of the Greatest Generation is a mystery wrapped up in a WWII international plot, created in two timelines with parallel love stories and an alcoholic reporter with a nose for a good story.

Nations collide as the last living second world war veteran races against time to share the harrowing secrets he's held for half a century. When fate steps in to disrupt his plans, the story takes on a fast-paced, masterful turn as the truth emerges, secret by secret, that will change history.

The Last of the Greatest Generation will touch on all of your emotions.

Although war stories and or history books are not really my genre, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. He writes with a very open and honest flare makes it easy to get involved and stay there. He has you in the palm of his hand. The only thing that brought the book down a little for me was the multiple typos, as well as issues with grammar,, and in the first half of the book people were always winking at each other, which made me cuckoo. Austin winked at Maggie Robert winked at Chris,, blah blah blah. Also, I like reading books that are set in places I’ve been to or lived in. I would definitely read another book by J Robert Gould, if I can find one.
