Andy Brubaker has decided to embark on a trip across America with his best friend Jimmy. Andy lives in a trailer park with his grandparents and an alcoholic father. Jimmy is headed off to college and the road trip is probably their last adventure together. The trip takes them from Indiana to California and then through the south as well. Andy wants to see his mother who left when he was just a child. The question is, will she want to see him? This is an experimental novel that moves with dialogue and action, it is lean and mean with no filler.
