Balbine Mathis also known as bal has a daughter named pearl and they both lived in the woods all alone. Bal went into the woods for means of survival holding an axe with the company of her only daughter. She became fed up with life and prayed for death due to the hardship she's going through. The very last minute when all hope was lost, a hunter came to her rescue and took her back to her cabin. On getting there, he figured out she had nothing except for the little ax and mattress in her cabin. As a resident in the neigbhourhood, he offered to take her in and she agreed. Bal and pearl lived with Bill for days and their feelings began to grow and they confessed it to each other. From there, their love story began.
