The Last Great Stickball Game & Nuggets from the Old Neighborhood are a collection of short stories from my old neighborhood of New York City's Spanish Harlem, where I was born and raised to a large, loving Italian family, the "SAUCE" of my inspiration and story ideas. The period spans from the mid 50's to the late 60's. It covers the years from grade school to young adulthood. The stories vary in length and content and follow no particular pattern. And though, I've taken liberty with the truth, what appears in print is inspired by actual events, some boarding on satire, allowing my imagination to run free.
