The Last French Fry

She is sitting in the dirt, under a tree, in an abandoned parking lot.She is pregnant (looks to be about 8 months) and I am running off to bring her back some HEALTHY food.Not some cheap crap from a drive thru, but something hearty and nutritious.When I return, she eats a few bites, puts it away, and thanks me.I am a bit stunned. She barely ate enough for 1, let alone 2.So I ask her, with heartfelt empathetic concern,"Do you want something else? I've been pregnant too.I can go get you WHATEVER you are craving...no problem...just tell me what you want!~" =)She hesitates for a second, and then she looks up at me and says, "I need to save some food for the others. It's what we do. We all look out for each other."Wow.And sometimes we sit in restaurants and don't want to share the last french fry.
