The Last Days of Adam is a play based on the true story of Adam Czerniak w, head of the Warsaw Ghetto Judenrat during the Second World War.

As deportations increase and reports emerge of what happens to those Jews sent "East", his position becomes ever more untenable.
The play follows Adam through meetings, orders and negotiations, as he tries to protect a trapped population with almost no power, and confronts the limits of compromise under a regime built on terror. Faced with the growing realisation of what is truly happening, he is forced towards a final, tragic decision.
