Nebraska Pioneer trials and tribulations

In the year 1887, a gambler, a young man and a young lady all detrain in Bent Fork, Jim McNellis the gambler decides it is time and perhaps a last chance to settle down and make something of himself, the young man Jack Connors is in a hurry to make a success of himself especially at anyone else's expense, the young lady Ann bjornson is courted by both to some extent, Della schmidt the widow owner of the Atlantic Hotel is a forward woman pushing McNellis to be her love interest but he being a cautious type delays her until she takes another, many incidents make this a very good story, not the typical shoot em up western.
