It's the 1980s, and Tweedmore & Slyde is the hottest law firm in red-hot Silicon Valley, where the computer industry is creating new ways to mint money, and lots of it. Tweedmore's lawyers are masters... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I read this book for the first time almost twenty years ago in 1989 when we lived in southern California. Since then I have read and re-read it with tremendous enjoyment taking my copy with me to Asia for several years and now to the midwest. My only regret is that the author never followed up this publication with other similar books. A great one-off. Highly recommended.

Every time I read this book again I check to see if she's written any more, and other people have told me they do the same thing. Apparently she retired in 2007 intending to resume her writing career. Hope something new is about to go into print. One book isn't enough.

I enjoyed this book a great deal, thought it was really good especially for a first book. Ever since I read it I have been looking for more books by Susan Wolfe - so sad not to find any.It is so nice to find an author I like, I wish she would write a few dozen more.
Excellent

I thought this was an excellent first novel - well-written and plotted, with an outstanding sense of the atmosphere and character of the Silicon Valley law firm. However, I'm afraid I'm hideously biased, as I know the author. :) To those of you who are wondering about sequels, I happen to know that Ms. Wolfe is now busy as the General Counsel of a Silicon Valley software company, but she fully intends to return to writing after she retires.

This book starts out hooking you into the lead character and keeps you wanting more when the book ends. I have been waiting for a sequal for far too long!!!
