Good book, poor scan

A delightful book to read. However, they are not kidding when they say in the description, "this work may contain missing or blurred pages, poor pictures, errant marks, etc." On every page the scan quality is poor, even rendering some of the footnotes to be impossible to read. It appears some of the picture pages are missing. I was expecting that the quality would be better from GALE publisher. I highly recommend purchasing this text from a different publisher. Really is a shame.
