A pleasant journey into the heart & soul of a Scotsman.

This was a very interesting book to read. If you were to judge this book from its cover you would expect a typical romance novel. I pick this up mainly as a whim and a courosity for a little more knowledge of this time period. What I got was a vast ammount of working knowledge of the Old Highlands and the politics but also a pleasant insight to love and a relationship with God. I first read this book when I was 21 and have just enjoyed it again 16 years later.
