The KJV Needs the Septuagint

By Rick Norris

The KJV was and is based on multiple varying sources. Evidence reveals that the old Greek Septuagint had some influence on the KJV. The KJV's Old Testament is not based solely and completely on the 1524/1525 Bomberg Hebrew Masoretic Text so that it needs the Greek Septuagint as one of its multiple underlying sources. KJV-only claims concerning the Septuagint are considered and examined. The KJV's own connections to the Greek LXX are presented.
