A woman is butchered in the streets of Manhattan while residents of a nearby apartment building neglect to call the police. Head Detective Lily Faye and rookie Officer Stilinski of the NYPD join forces to solve a case identical to another murder in the 60's. Their investigation seems cursed from the start.
