In this second series, you will read more about the following day adventure of Kitt, Jolly, and Oxford's pursuance of finding Kitt's human friend Fred and the meeting at the Garden of Love with Miss Pearl. Jolly still remains his humorous self to keep things at a light pace from the seriousness. One of them is nearly catnapped by a young girl. Kitt's face is plastered on the TV news and newspaper about his missing or lost dilemma. Because of the new awareness of his missing in the big city, and his human owner Fred desperately seeking him, it now has put the three of them in 'human alertness' to Kitt's whereabouts. As all New Yorkers eyes are now on the lookout for Kitt, an incident of a near fatal roadkill that leads to a desperate cab driver seeking the capture and return of "The Kitty From New York City". Fred has a fender bender with a beautiful southern beauty lady, named Ruby, and her lovely companion cat. Meanwhile, Kitt, Jolly, and Oxford devise a plan to find a phone to call Fred now that Oxford has Fred's phone number memorized from the news. The three of them will take the risk of walking amongst human foot traffic for several city blocks without being noticed by humans, as they seek shelter to take a break and decide their next move to where they will go next.
