Size matters 5.3" x 0.5" x 3.8"

I’ve ordered a lot of books in my day, and generally they arrive looking like… well, books. You know — something in the neighborhood of 9" x 6". Big enough to read without feeling like I’m deciphering a secret scroll. So imagine my surprise when I opened the package and pulled out what can only be described as the fun-size edition. This book is approximately 5" x 4" — roughly the dimensions of a Pop-Tart. I’ve seen greeting cards with more presence. And just when I thought the surprises were over, I discovered the return policy: no returns on items under $15. So now I am the proud lifelong owner of what appears to be the travel-sized, emergency-pocket edition. Lesson learned: before clicking “buy,” scroll down to the “Book Overview,” grab a ruler, and maybe a magnifying glass while you’re at it. Five stars for keeping life exciting.
