Not what I was expecting

I was disappointed in this book. It’s titled as a “journal” but it contains chapters of writing with a only a few pages at the end of each chapter to write or draw. The writing prompts were sadly generic and left me feeling uninspired. Although, my lack of inspiration may be due to my grief over loosing the best dog ever?! Either way, this book was not up to my expectations. I was hoping for a journal to help prompt me to commemorate his life and to remember the special moments—Not a book on processing my grief. Sadly, I’m also unable to return it since it’s a “journal.”
