Gorgeous! Fabulous!

If you've never watched this then you must! The story is wonderful with DeborahKerr as the American(widowed)teacher &her young son who come to teach the King of Siam's(YulBrenner) children(multitudes)& they become the closest of friends,perhaps even falling in love but knowing not to let that be admitted even to themselves. It is a wonderfully moving story of a King's pride&humility,honor,loyalty&deep abiding friendship&love. The dance number is fabulous, the costumes superb & of course the legendary YulBrenner is a perfect King of Siam. All filmed in Hollywood set in magnificent grandeur & color. This is a most loved movie.
