The "Kinda" Secret Pineapple Island Swingers' Resort

By Jade Dollston

I'm Juliette McNamara-romance author, professional procrastinator, and currently working on a book that's due to my editor in... checks notes... four weeks.

And I'm only on chapter two. *Sigh*

I need some peace and dang quiet. I need my writer's block to go away. I need... a writing retreat.

So I book myself the perfect getaway at the Pineapple Island Resort and Spa.

Quiet cottage? Check

Beautiful beaches? Check

Hot professional hockey player next door for "inspiration"? Check

A resort full of swingers? Che- Wait. What?

Despite crazy misunderstandings and an unfortunate hammock mishap, I manage to buckle down and work on my novel... with some sexy motivation from my neighbor, Reno Swain. He's a bonafide hockey hottie with abs of steel and a smirk that could short-circuit a Kindle.

But we make a deal: no strings, no feelings, just a casual vacation fling. Not a single pitter-pattering of my heart to be found. And I'm certainly not going to fall in love with him.

Easy, peasy, right?

WRONG. So, so wrong.

When we part ways to return home, my manuscript is done, but my heart is broken because I know I'll never see Reno again. Until his piercing green eyes, hunky forearms, and heart of gold show up in the most unlikely of places...

My hometown.
