ARAPAHOE AND APACHE

The Killings At Coyote Springs: A U.S. Marshal and a Rocky Mountain news reporter are sent to the town of Coyote Springs to investigate an earlier killing of Arapahoe Indians. Some of the townspeople took revenge on these innocent Arapahoes for what some other Arapahoes did at the Little Big Horn. With the railroad approaching the town this whole affair must be covered up so prosperity will be allowed to come to Coyote Springs. Yet some of the more strident townspeople are now considering killing the U.S. Marshal and reporter to aid in that coverup. A western with a message from Lewis B. Patten master of the formulaic western. The Trail Of The Apache Kid: After the Apache Kid escapes from prison he blames Frank Healy, Indian scout, for his plight. To lure Healy into ambush he captures Frank's wife, Nora, to use as bait to lure Frank into an ambush. The pursuit is long and hard with the Apache Kid controlling where the final showdown will take place. Another solid read mixed with factual material from Lewis B. Patten. Though Mr. Patten died in 1981 he left many interesting westerns for us to enjoy. Semper Fi.
