Who Has My Key?

Picture this... Your best friend in the whole world invites you and your man along with two of your closest friends and their men to a party. As you enter the hotel suite at which the party is being held, you drop your house key into a bowl near the door, as do your friends. You enjoy an evening of food, alcohol and good conversation. You even play a few games. As the evening winds down, all of the ladies leave first. The men follow about 30 minutes later before randomly picking a key from the bowl. What happens between you and the male that picked your key is your secret as is with all the others. Sounding interesting? That is the premise for Lisa Nicole Hankerson's and Siddeeqah Perryman's debut novel, The Key Party. And what a premise it is. This writing duo narrates the feelings and thoughts of each individual and couple as they contemplate the upcoming party. While the idea of getting a little "freaky sneaky" with your mate's permission may sound appealing, what about the possible ramifications? Can you deal with the thought of your mate sexing one of your friends? Can your friend deal with the idea of her man breaking you off? Can any of the relationships survive the Key Party? I think this was an excellent debut effort. The ending left a possibility of a sequel which I do hope there will be. I'll never look at keys the same.

The Key Party is a novel that grabs you from the first page and forces you to keep reading until the very end and then it makes you want even more. The characters are very likable and they remind you of people you know now or in the past. The story touches topics that you may have wondered about in your own life but may not have had the courage to act upon. The story flowed well and this is a tremendous accomplishment considering that this novel was co-authored. Siddeeqah and Lisa Nicole did an awesome job with their debut novel and I can't wait for the sequels to come. Great job my sisters!

THE KEY PARTY Review

I think that THE KEY PARTY is a very interesting, non-stop page turning book! The writing of each individual character is brilliant and the storyline grabs your attention as soon as you read the first few pages. The Most Interesting Book I've Ever Read

I absolutely loved The Key Party. I finished The KeyParty the day after I purchased it. There was a lot of things going on and very easy to follow. It definately kept you very interested and intrigued. Lets just say the ending was a surprise. This book will leave you wondering, "Would you even think about it if you had the opportunity, would you ever take the risk?" I can't wait for the next book. Buy this book you won't be disappointed.
