The Kent Poems: Celebrating The Garden of England

These emotive poems were inspired and written about places I visited over the years in the beautiful Garden of England and the people I encountered along the way. From gorgeous rural Kent through to the hub of Dover Port, and taking in the cliffs along the way. A journey through time and the seasons. Above all else this collection tells the story of real people, some of famous sons and daughters of the county, yet others those who helped put iconic locations on the map, and those less known people from the past brought to life once again through the power of words.

I love Kent so much that when I came to write my first full length novel, The Spirits at Jim's Bar, I had to set it in Dover and have my main protagonist live in my personal favourite town of Folkestone.
