The Keeper of the Thread

By Lance Peppler

Every story leaves a thread.

Hadraniel has spent eternity recording history from the safety of Heaven's Archive, where every life and every promise is preserved with perfect precision. His greatest responsibility is tending the Thread-a living record tracing the promised Redeemer from Eden through generations of flawed, ordinary people.

When the Thread leads him to Judah, the son of Jacob, the assignment seems straightforward.

It is anything but.

As jealousy tears a family apart, Joseph disappears into slavery, and Judah walks away carrying more guilt than he can bear, Hadraniel discovers that God's greatest works are rarely accomplished through perfect people or predictable paths. The careful order he has trusted begins to unravel, forcing him to confront a truth he has never understood:

The Thread was never protected by avoiding brokenness. It was woven through it.

Rich with biblical insight, gentle wit, and profound humanity, The Keeper of the Thread reimagines one of Scripture's most remarkable family stories through the eyes of an angel learning that grace is far more surprising than order.

The first novel in The Infinite Tapestry Series.
