This book opens up the world of the kaballah in a very interesting way. The actual paths one must travel to reach the inner knowledge are demonstrated for us in the 'real life' situations of these people buried beneath the earth.The way the author reveals the place of African people in the OldTestament is 'novelle' for me.I have begun reading more into the Quabalah and have a deeper sense of what African Americans must feel. We are all trying to find ourselves and sometimes the roles of pwerful and powerless are one in the same.Ms Davis has opened a new chapter in the 'mystery of history'.

a journey through the African Diaspora

this batyah has really capitured the journey for us as African in America. it is refreshing to read such a text & know that a woman of not only color, but of substance wrote it. thanks batyah.

This is a great book

This is a great book. It is time someone exposed the truth. The knowledge of the bible and the whole world rest on the knowlegde of the Africans. It is so clear yet it has been hidden so well.
