A real cookbook for big kids

Here's a good cookbook for kids who are ready to use the stove. My 8-year-old has made grilled cheese, scrambled eggs, cookies, lasagna roll-ups and is proudly working her way to more advanced fare. It's a real cookbook with basic recipes, fresh ingredients, and good safety tips. Some recipes are a little high in fat, but this is outweighed by the long-run benefits of having good cooking skills. Relax (but stay nearby) and let your child do the cooking!
