On the South Side of Chicago, Tina, a young black girl confined to the impoverished reality of the projects, seeks to find more than her circumstance has allowed. Her parents, demanding more for their futures, decide that the climb out is far greater than settling where they remain. Change has no respect to the boundaries and comforts of man. Trauma and emotional turmoil begin to fill the holes in her life as the essence of her being. Tina soon learns that there is no such thing as picture perfect when trying to piece her life back together from a fall out between two individuals. Through her journey, she begins to see that talking through her stories is the only path that leads to walking through her healing.
