Labeled as a 'poor off-grid creature' by the state, Hinata lives a recluse life, void of all social interactions, in a cozy cottage in her hometown Platoria. Despite the company of her loyal dog Gentle and her loving cow Spotty, her heart longs for wholesome connections and reconciliation with her brother Mopuro, whom she last saw when she was a little child.

One day, a visit by the friendly neighborhood-wizard Renegald rattles up her routine:
Her dog starts to talk like a human, she finds a little fairy in her garden (who she names Quapooli), and Renegald claims to have found the location of her lost brother.
With the prospect of Mopuro being the only relative who might still be alive (and Renegald having crafted a spell to open
the portal to the other areas of the land of PSY), she is now forced to embark on an adventure beyond her comfort zone... with the goal to reach the very place her brother was last seen: the mythical-legendary valley of 'Stardust Harmonia'.

Soon after leaving behind her home, she becomes friends with a group of cats, equips herself with a crystal-powered gadget named 'Inductor' (which enables humans to generate spells), and gets entangled with the menacing forces of a power-hungry emperor who wants to find 'the intruder' who supposedly kidnapped the children of the Easter Orphanage on the Memoria hilltop: Things get complicated fast...
