"Journey Of A Man" is the follow-up book to Ray Heisler's 2014 poetry book release entitled "The Dark Before The Dawn". "The Journey Of A Man" is a sharp contrast from Heisler's first book in a very unique way. "The Dark Before The Dawn" reflected the harsh growth from the type of person that Heisler was in his early-to-mid 20's. "The Journey Of A Man" is a softer and spiritual side of Heisler as he has blossomed into the understanding of the world. The poems in "The Journey Of A Man" give the reader a glimpse into a side of Heisler's life that he doesn't let very many people in on. When he set out to write this book, he wanted this collection of poems to be conversation starters, with such poem titles as "Justice for Trayvon" and "Porcelain Doll Christian". The main objective of this poetry book is to give people a glimpse into Heisler as a Christian. He hopes to get this into the hands of broken people in society that are looking for a spiritual outlet and connection.
