The Journey Home

When children come to Mrs. Olson's house, she lets them select a clown to keep. Sissy chooses Sandy for her very own. Sissy's family is moving to Alaska to be missionaries; and on the way, they have many adventures. The story is told by Sandy as he remembers it. I like how the author describes Sandy's feelings. The book teaches lessons about love and trusting in God. The simple pencil drawings illustrate the story well. I liked this book very much and am looking forward to the next one.
