Old and new ideas are examined as Reverend Masters confronts a myriad of life and death situations that challenge his deep spiritual convictions. The novel is as provocative as it is inspirational. It's a spiritual book about a new way of thinking. As long as we're alive, there is no final reckoning. The best one can do is to be comfortable about what he truly believes.
