This new series of ours will be devoted to translations from post-Biblical Hebrew poetry, this volume including the 'State Generation' poetry of the 1950s and 1960s. The editor of the Jerusalem Review thinks that those Hebrew poems constitute one of the main achievements of world poetry in the second half of the 20th century
