The characters in this book flee the U.S. for fear of assignation by the government especially FEMA and its employees. They have been chased in the past four novels and this novel brings it all to a head. The entire family that has been chasing them is dead now but one. He blames our characters for their death and is out for revenge. They tried to go to Mexico, but that fell through. They chose to leave and go to Europe. They were invited to go to an Island called Tesoro Island. Owned by a rich man that hunts treasure for a living. Fema thinks they are guilty and has contacted Interpol to be on the look out. They decide to travel across by Train and their adventures only get larger. they eventually return to San Francisco and end this mess once and for all. The Mafia, A Ghost Ship, Italians, and friends in Greece, and travel to Amsterdam, Germany, France and Belgium.
