Author's Biography My name is Clarence Silvers. I presently work for Saint Louis University in Saint Louis Missouri, as a bus driver. I am responsible for transporting university students around the Saint Louis area on and off campus. It is something I enjoy doing, as it gives me an opportunity to find new ideas to explore and then use them to create some of the stories I write. But, that is not how I got started as a writer. I started as a struggling musician with a skill set for singing in samll groups and choirs. There were times I perfomed as a solo artist crisscrossing around the country. I created a small in-home recording studio and wrote about two hundred songs. From that group of songs, I chose twenty pieces to record. In the process of recording, I was diagnosed with laringeal cancer and was told that I would never sing again. During my recovery I began writing short stories to ease the anxiety. The stories flowed like water, as did the songs in me. I couldn't wait to finish one story to start another. Family and friends suggested I turn them into books. I began to like the new found interest and decided to become a member of the Storytellers Guild. There I performed several of their written pieces and some of my own stories. All which gave me the confidence to self publish my own story books. The Isodora-A Christmas Tale, is not my first story, but it is one I have truly enjoyed writing. I live in St. Lous Missouri and can be contacted at clarencesilvers2447@gmail.com
