Chance Brooks amassed an incredible fortune before the age of thirty. The constant workload burned him out, so while at one of his Christmas parties while speaking to a friend, he decided he would retire to a tiny island she spoke of. Two months later, Chance had placed the final signature on the final sale of his vast holdings, and he was free to move to his new property on Fox Island. Then, one night, as a storm approached the island, something moved along the fence that stopped anyone from falling fifty feet to the shore below. Chance sat on his deck trying to see what the thing was, and then it crawled over the fence and started across the lawn towards him.
