The island appears to be some sort of tropical paradise to a young lad out to explore the world. However, it soon transpires that all is not well in this heavenly place. A shady character from the past called Bitter Almonds and the ghost of one of his victims seek to prey on the lad Steve, one of them with good intentions, the other not. In this action-packed, mysterious thriller, things very far from the ordinary occur which put the lives of almost everybody Steve comes into contact with at risk. Who will win out in the end in this good versus evil tale is anybody's guess.
