The Island of the Golden Sparrow

In the countryside of Washington state, Dave, his younger sister Jane, and their loyal dog Rocky, explore the forest near their home on Dragonfly Canyon Farm. They soon uncover a hidden garden along the way and meet a magnificent blue sparrow. After the sparrow steals, then loses their only way out, they are left with no choice but to go in search of the key. They tumble into a mysterious portal between two galaxies: theirs, and the imprisoned land of Golden Sparrow Island. After realizing an evil king has taken the land captive, the trio must find a way to rescue the residents of the island, defeat the king, and restore peace to the world. But how can two kids and a dog save a world where its citizens speak backwards, make friends with talking animals and nothing makes sense? With the help of a new friend, the kids go up against their hardest challenge yet, facing three important trials, one of which has deadly consequences.
