Molly Hanson, prone to knucklehead moments, is still struggling to fit into her remote fishing island community with her waterman husband Hank. After mistakenly shop-lifting a can of pasta, Molly is sentenced to perform a community service stint at Sunnydale Acres Retirement Home. Despite serious warnings from Walter, the local sheriff and Hank's best friend, Molly follows her gut instincts and begins digging around the gardener's affairs along with her new sidekick, Sylvie. As Molly begins putting the pieces together, this wannabe detective just can't stop herself from walking head-on into trouble and into the path of the killer, with no way out.
